Solar power kicks in,,,, a threat to increasing price?

Solar power is obtained from sun.Now that Sun is free and available so why not utilize it.
Sun gives off heat and energy which is given to the environment.
Now that prices of fuels are increasing, why not utilize Sun's energy.
Scientists have always kept on thinking until they made a solar cell.
Solar cells have a wide history from 1839 and modifications continued until in 1971 it went $100/watt.
Presently solar cells are used widely in many industries saving a whole bunch of fuel cost.In Pakistan 3 wheelers solar rickshaw are introduced which would be fully functional soon. Its average speed would be upto 50 to 70. km.Its mere requirement is five battries and 1 DC motor control.
